You have one of the most confusing websites I've ever experienced, and I can only think that it's on purpose to minimize authentice pubilc input. Your graphs on the Bike pages only define one axis... the other axis (presumably time) is not defined. Good luck to anyone trying to decern useful information. You also make it a hugh chore for anyone to comment on this. Please get your State act together, as plans are worthless withoout authentice public input.

Somewhat agree with the previous comment, the map does not provide info on current plans to improve / create cycling routes. I would really like to see a designated cycling lane (at least white lines on the pavement with a cyclist icon) on Haleakala Highway. It seems like cycling lanes in the Makawao / Haiku / Keo Kea areas would be an excellent idea as they seem to get the most use already.

I own a home in Kihei and ride my bicycle occasionally on the streets between Kalamazoo Park and the Shop at Wailea. The marked “bike lanes” are part of the right hand traffic lane and are an invitation to a collision. The only sensible choice is to prohibit bikes on these lanes or widen the roads to accommodate cyclists. Hawaii should build extensive bike path access island wide to encourage bicycle usage and curb automobile usage.

That’s Kalama Park! Spell check sucks!
